These terms govern every reservation made with Phenom Services. By confirming a booking — online, by telephone, by email or through one of our partners — you agree to the conditions set out below. Please take a moment to read them; they are written to be clear rather than clever.

02 Definitions
- Client — the person or organisation making the booking and responsible for payment.
- Passenger — any person travelling in the vehicle.
- Chauffeur service — transport provided with a professional driver.
- Rental — self-drive hire of a vehicle from our prestige fleet.
- Booking — a confirmed reservation for a defined date, time and itinerary.
03 Bookings & confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once we have acknowledged it and the deposit has been received. We will do our utmost to honour every detail of your itinerary; where a specific vehicle becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we reserve the right to provide an equivalent or superior vehicle from our fleet at no additional cost.
You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and destination details, passenger numbers, luggage volume and any special requirements at the time of booking.
04 Prices, VAT & payment
- All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include Swiss VAT at 8.1%.
- For listed routes, the price is a fixed quotation. For destinations not on our published list, the price is calculated from distance, route difficulty and region; once confirmed, it is fixed for your journey.
- The price is per vehicle, not per passenger.
- A 30% deposit confirms the booking; the balance is due on completion of the service unless an account arrangement has been agreed in advance.
- Quotations are valid for the journey described. Material changes to the route, duration, waiting time or stops may adjust the final price, and any such change will be communicated to you.
05 Cancellations & changes
Cancellations, modifications and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: chauffeur services may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup, with longer notice periods for multi-day bookings and rentals.
06 Waiting time & flight monitoring
For airport pickups we monitor your flight and include 60 minutes of complimentary waiting after landing. All other pickups include 15 minutes of complimentary waiting. Beyond these allowances, waiting is billed pro-rata at the vehicle's hourly rate.
07 Conduct & use of the vehicle
- The number of passengers and items of luggage must not exceed the stated capacity of the vehicle.
- Seat belts must be worn at all times, in accordance with Swiss law.
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle.
- The Client is responsible for any damage, soiling or loss caused to the vehicle by a passenger; cleaning or repair costs may be charged.
- Our chauffeurs may decline to carry passengers whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful or threatening, without refund.
08 Children & safety
Child and booster seats are provided free of charge on request — please specify the children's ages when booking so the correct seats are fitted. For the safety of young passengers, we ask that suitable restraints be used in line with Swiss regulations.
09 Luggage & animals
Please declare luggage volume at the time of booking so we assign an appropriate vehicle; oversized loads can be served by our dedicated luggage transport. Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement; assistance animals travel without restriction.
10 Delays & matters beyond our control
We plan generous margins for traffic, weather and alpine conditions, but we cannot accept liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including exceptional traffic, accidents, road closures, severe weather, border controls or acts of authority. Where such events prevent a service, our liability is limited to the value of the booking.
11 Liability & insurance
All vehicles are fully insured and maintained to professional standards, and our chauffeurs are licensed for the transport of persons. To the extent permitted by law, Phenom is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed flights, appointments or connections, save where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12 Lost property
Items left in a vehicle are logged and held securely. We will gladly arrange return by hand or courier; return shipping is at the Client's cost. Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe an item has been left behind.
13 Prestige car rental (self-drive)
Self-drive hire of our prestige fleet is subject to the following additional conditions:
- The driver must hold a full, valid licence held for the minimum period we specify, and meet our minimum age and experience requirements.
- A refundable security deposit (caution) is taken against the vehicle and released after inspection on return.
- The vehicle is supplied with a full tank and must be returned likewise; fuel and mileage terms are confirmed at booking.
- The hirer is responsible for traffic fines, tolls and penalties incurred during the rental period.
- The vehicle may not be taken outside the agreed territory, sub-let, or used for motorsport, towing or unlawful purposes.
14 Delegations & corporate accounts
Embassies, travel agencies, hotels and corporate clients may arrange multi-vehicle bookings and account terms by agreement. Such arrangements may be subject to a separate written agreement that prevails over these terms where the two differ.
15 Data protection
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Swiss data-protection law.
16 Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here on the date of your booking.
